I decided to add the OEM spoiler earlier this year, and I got it from Pacific BMW.

No idea what shipping would be to send it Down Under.

Theres plenty of lip spoilers on ebay... you could try wreckers though?

Peakrpm sell a few different types (replicas):

go look on BF.c classifieds...you should be able to find an OEM one for not that much. I got mine over there (paid $150 for one in very good condition that matched my paint)

Hold on, you mean the full spoiler right, or a lip spoiler?

I had the lip for years, liked it but was ready for a change.

Agree that if you can find a used on in your color off the boards that's a great way to go. Fern green isn't that common and I was tired of waiting, ready to make the change.

Something as major as a wing, I didn't want to mess with aftermarket. $475 including shipping was the cost from Pacific.

Can you give some more detail? Who painted it for you? Did the dealer just order it from Germany? How was the install on a trunk that wasn't drilled for a spoiler?

                Thanks-

I drilled holes in my trunk to install my oem spoiler. Not very difficult at all as long as you are diligent about the measurements. There are a couple good DYIs on how to do it.

I went with a shop that specializes in BMW work. I like to DIY some stuff, but didn't want to tackle drilling holes in the trunk lid myself. And wanted the paint job to be perfect.

I've got a .pdf with the instructions somewhere if you want the specifics.

OP - i wouldn't mess up your clean boot lid given you have such a great example

if you really must though, new unpainted high arch spoilers can be had from ebay for ~ $250 AUD. same as the one on Edgys fern green.

The one on Edgy's isn't a high arch.

I believe you can only get the high arch like mine has as a factory option. Mine was even on my window sticker as an option for a few grand.

The King is correct -- there is only one style OEM wing currently available, sometimes called low or sedan style. IMO it's not too low, and was what I wanted.

No way they charged "a few grand" for it, though. I gotta throw the bs flag on that one. The most expensive option on the E36 M3 were LTW wheels, $1,500. And that's why they are fairly rare compared to the no cost rim options.

Please scan your window sticker and prove me wrong.

It's been a while since I pulled out the window sticker. (M Rear Wing - $650)

Come on--nobody knows where I could find an OEM high-arch other than used on bf.c?
