So I am new to this forum (my first forum of any kind) and I posted in the new peoples section but I wanted to say hi to all of the e36 owners out there specifically! (I hope I'm not doing something out of line by posting here I'm still getting use to all this). Anyway I just purchased a 1999 silver e36 m3 and so far I absolutely love it. I have a bit of autocross and track experience in a spec 944 but have never owned a bmw. After taking an amazing trip with my buddy in his 97 m3, I knew I had to get one. I look forward to learning from you all and hopefully learning enough to keep my maintenance to a minimum haha.

Thanks everyone for the responses! Im going to work hard to keep it in this condition. I have been looking at threads about tires because I am going to have to purchase some in the near future. It seems like many people like the gforces but I have heard they wear fast (I know that can depend on how hard the car is being drivin). I have heard good and bad about general exclaims. Does anyone know anything about the Firestone firehawk wied oval indy 500s? I can get them for 110 dollars but i dont know much about them. I have also read good things about yokohama s tires in that price range (90-125 dollars). The g forces are a bit more than I would like to pay but if they would last should I pay more? Sorry about adding more to the tire threads.. and thank you to everyone for their input!
