Just to toss in another option -- you could do Hellas projectors, then upgrade to HID via DDM.

I recently got the ZKWs with HIDs and AEs pre-installed. Everything works great, light output is really great and they look good. Only not good part was the price... the whole setup ran me $700.

Surprised nobody else has posted about a retrofit. They are 10x better than any of the OE options like I said.
