Unless it is too late, request a private viewing of the related parking lot surveillance video.
Feeling your pain; my entire passenger side was keyed years ago in a courthouse parking lot. I just left it that way until the passenger fender was damaged later; nice color match in Baltimore MD by Jeff Shaw's Collision CarStar on E. Monument Street.
Good luck!

Nothing frustrates me more!
Sorry to see that OP.
My buddie's mint 75k mile Estoril got keyed at like 8 in the morning outside Fred Meyer while he picked up some last minute camping gear. Not sure what route he took to have it "fixed" but the key marks are about 90% gone now. Good luck getting it taken care of, and just know that jealousy motivates this sort of action the majority of the time. Chances are you are way better off in life than the guy who keyed your car.

This happened to me once. it is devastating, you work hard to get something and take care of it then someone craps all over your reward. I don't like this story. but you are not alone, my former car, over a decade old and a VW with perfect paint...it still pisses me off, to this day.
I want to hear the story where, I got to the parking lot and I CAUGHT two kids keying my car. That would be a better story...
Anyway, what does the law do with this kind of scum I wonder?
We all live in fear of this. Such is the curse of having fine things in a f-up world.
