I bought the car with stock struts/shocks which was basically worn out. I replaced it with the H&R coilovers (only height adjustable, progressive springs) first. Car still didn't feel right suspension wise.

Then I discovered a crack on the driver side motor mount of the subframe which was causing my front end to kind of lift upon acceleration. I found a used subframe and had the reinforcements welded in and replaced it, and installed new motor mounts at the same time. Car drove better after, no more lift.

After a while, I noticed my driver side lift again. Checked and found the bottom nut of the driver side mount went missing. Replaced that and torqued everything to spec and made sure all the other bolts on the subframe were tight. I went ahead and replaced my control arms and bushings and tie rod ends because the boots on my existing ones were torn and there was a lot of play on the balljoints/studs already. I also installed a turner front swaybar with adjustable endlinks.

Car of course drove much better. But quite harsh still. And now I'm getting the front end lift again. But I rechecked all the connections and nothing is loose this time. (I also had an alignment done already after the front refresh).

I haven't replaced my strut hats that's why after I replace that, I'm hoping it will somehow set it right. I'll be replacing it with camber plates (street from g/c) and I should get them tomorrow and try to install asap.
