Disco lights and dancing windows in the rain

My car is throwing a fit today! I live in sunny socal but this week was a rare rainy one. So I was just cruising down to work when the electricals started going crazy. The check engine light came on, the passenger side window kept going up and down, interior lights were flickering on and off, the locks stopped working, and the computer kept saying I had a lowbeam failure (though they were working fine). The car is driving me nuts I just spent $1k on maintenance a month ago! =\

Is the electric module exposed to the elements? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks folks.

If you haven't already, check the wiring bundle that goes to the trunk lid. You have to pull back the black sheath to expose the individual wires. Check at the point the bundle would flex/bend when the trunk is opened and closed. The sheath can look fine but the underlying wires can have their insulation worn through so that multiple wires can contact each other. It can cause all sorts of craziness. Maybe with the rain enough water got into the sheath to help short things out?

May not find anything, but easy to check and cheap to fix.
