Only thing that doesn't sit well with me on that car are the clear corners. Amber definitely isn't the answer, but I wonder how smoked would look...
I bought it with ambers, and was torn between clears and smoked, but after looking at a bunch of dakar pics on google i decided the smoked doesn't look good on the tails and since im slightly OCD I had to do smoked all around or clears all around. The clears on the front do stand out but im getting used to them.

Yeah, I guess I forgot to mention in all my ramblings that if you're not looking for too much privacy, and you don't want to get in trouble with the law, and you have a dark car, my recommendation would also be 35%

            Yes.

I am currently running 30% in the rear and 35% in the front side windows. The transition is not visible at all, does the job and doesn't look to dark to cause unwanted attention.

My previous owner did a 20% tint. I wouldn't have gone that dark (probably wouldn't have tinted at all, honestly), but in the end, I love it and get compliments on it all the time. I think the 20% looks really sharp on silver.

I have 2011 Space Gray M3 and am looking to tint. I was at a Mothers store today and the guy quoted me $450 for my sedan and an equal amount for my Tacoma pick up. Didn't feel comfortable and left. Need some advice on % and cost. Appreciate all help. Thanks.

$150 - $250 is what I've seen depending on the material. I just did 21% on my Cosmos, along with 85% on the windshield. Very happy - althought I MIGHT go 15% in the rear, with 21% on front sides if I had to do it again. Interior makes a big difference - I have black recaro's up front and I love it - Dove in the rear though (and direct sunlight through the rear window make the back noticable lighter than the front).
