Ignition Spin Emergency

Ok guys hopefully I can get a quick answer here... I just got the spinning ignition of doom, and can't start my car. I could live with this, except the window is down and it just started raining. (Of course). Anyone know a way to at least get the window up for now?

Just put the key in the door and turn to the lock position and hold. All the windows will roll up.

My E36 car ownership will have hit the 5 year mark in June. I did not know this worked on our cars too!!!!! LOL me!!!

Nope, E36 puts the windows/top up only, the E46 did both. Be happy you got something, lol!
