Btw today i decided to drive my m3 to work i made couple videos with my cell phone camera while Im holding it in my hand

not a good quality or anything but you can hear the tire squeel for sure but not like the long spins I was talking about I dont know how did I managed to do that also ?

I would send OP or you guys the videos if you give me your email so you would idea about the low end that i gained with the software..

I cant get on youtube on this laptop somehow so all I can do is sending the video through my phone..thanks

Here is the video E36M3RT asked me to post for him:

Thank you Ender and sorry i wish i had time and place to make a good video..

Yes they came out with a great coilovers with a reasonable price, great software tunes (def not just a throttle response! ) turbo options while Tms focuses on the newer m3s..

I had no desire to buy any of those shark injectors or other tms packages, i would rather buying something from a company still spending time on our cars...

Pls check the reviews for TMS software tune reviews and TRm software tunes reviews you ll see what im talking about

And Po they do have tune for 1995 m3 just call them and get info, you can trust them,,

I def love the way my car drives now .

Btw I captured the video at 100F yesterday afternoon car still felt great before the tune i was feeling the loss of power when it s hot..

        Thank you..

The thing about OBD1 manifolds is it's utterly useless - unless you get a tune and raise your redline, and shed the factory airbox, or mod the airbox with a euro snorkel at the very least. Then it's worth it and you'll never go back, and stomp on every OBD2 M3 out there in a drag race.

No point in all that "high RPM" breathing if you don't actually have the ability to achieve high RPM.

If your VANOS is working you'll pass.

I passed with a conforti shark for OBD1 mani + JC intake. Change you oil, plugs and make sure your cam sensor/o2 sensors aren't on the fritz.

CA smog isn't nearly as scary as people make it out to be.

What was the rpm limit on the 1995 M3 and the 1992-1995 325i that used this intake manifold from the factory? Did they use nonfactory airboxes or euro snorkels?

My understanding is that the 1996-1999 M3 with the 1992-1995 intake manifold will make more horsepower and more torque than any of the 1992-1995 cars including the 1995 M3.

                correct

if you like having the low end tq driving around ,downshifting less ,light to light runs keep the stock manifold but after 2nd gear you ll def have a big advantage with m50 mani swap cause when you are going full throttle tq will be shifted upto more usable rpm so youl have a great uptop over 5k rpm..

Just imagine if you are driving around town you are mostly between 2 and 3k rpm where stock mani shines and when you are pushing the car to the limit mostly around 4500 thru 6500 rpm in the next gear and m50 manifold swap shifts that low end to that area...

Are you disputing what i said or asking questions?

Torque is there, it's just shifted a tiny bit higher. I drive between 2-3k and get a nice throaty sound under load. I like to have the throttle open as much as possible and keep the revs down in neighborhoods and things like that.

With the increased redline there is a definite need for breathing mods besides the m50 mani Im eying a 540 tb with the big MAF, injectors and a euro airbox. Just had a valve job done and kicking myself for not doing cams.

Disputing through asking questions. I take your lack of answer as a confirmation that the 1995 M3 with the intake manifold you say is utterly useless without a raised rpm limit had the same rpm limit as the 1996-1999 M3. The same goes for the airbox.

The 1995 intake manifold that worked fine on the 3.0L 1995 M3 works even better on the 3.2L 1996-99 M3. A 96-99 M3 with the 95 M3 intake manifold still has more torque everywhere than the 95 M3.

Can it be better with mods? Sure. The 1995 M3 can be modded to be better also.
