still don't get what you don't like about your car for college.... its paid for, in great condition, meets all your criteria minus having a sunroof, and will be reliable since I imagine you've addressed a lot of the inherent E36 quirks. it has a lot more character than a new ATS or whatever as well, imo.

E36M is a sweet college kid car, and girls will like it more than your other options as well

        REALLY???

OK...you're 19 years old. You're young and inexperienced in a lot of the ways of the world. I get that.

You really haven't lived life in the real world beyond going to school. I get that too.

You are right now driving a really old used $7000 to $8000 car and think that driving a brand new $40,000 Audi would make you and others think you are a douche bag? That's something I do not get.

Buy the Cadillac...it seems to suit you.

I don't know about some of you guys, but being 18-21yo i had some of the best 'adventures' in not-so reliable cars. When my mates and I catch up, there's always half a dozen stories of those misadventures we can share a few beers over and have a good laugh, and 15-17yrs later we still remember every (or most!) details of them.

I'm all for a reliable car, and that's why my wife has one for the kids. Everyone's situation is different of course, and i wish you best of luck on whatever you decide will be best for you.

I'd get a 2012 328i Sportline. It handles better than the 335 - 120lbs over the front axle and they are already making 330hp out of them with piggyback tuners

It would be cool to order a brand new one with rare options, like no sunroof, speed clothe interior etc.
