Future modification list for e36

I decided to write a list of modifications/mods for my car. I thought it would be good idea to write it down as for future, we come back to this and look what we have accomplished so far.


Feel free to make some comments/suggestions


Heres full list of mine;

(Red means accomplished/added to the car)

In no particular order


-Stock Oem kidney grilles

-Raised up the M few more inches higher for more cleaner look

-New bumper with lip

-Diff Bracket from Mike R.

-Sway Bar reinforcement

-Fog delete since I hate the look of bav auto ones

-ZKW headlights with TSX retrofit or something better (DEPOS ARE DOWNRIGHT HORRIBLE AT NIGHT)

-license trim and tow trim (factory black to complete whole car)

-42lbs injectors

-high flow fuel pump

-an intercooler

-A 11 psi belt (need to research more into it)

-porsche HFM

-Nick G tune

-MM underpanel or similar (my M came with no panel cover)

-ZHP knob

-Z3 shifter

-Z3 steering rack

-Maybe some factory wheels or wider set of wheels

I have ground control coilover street kit.



After I raised it up, i definitely noticed that my M drove lot smoother and much more comfortable compared to slammed to rigid feeling over the bumps. So far its lot better and less rubbing.

after long of thinking and decisions, Ive decided to keep e36 because Ive came to conclusion that I will regret myself selling it and its too special now.

Can't wait to see the numbers! Quick suggestion check out Mishimotos intercoolers, they carry the same lifetime warranty as the radiators and have very lower pressure drop less than .1psi at 15psi. I'm looking at grabbing the black S-Line (LINK) for my personal car soon, I figure the black will be rather discreet sitting behind the bumper.

Slightly higher ratio. Autocross guys like quick ratios to make the very tight maneuvers they see. You can also use a 330i rack (must be careful to get exactly that rack, from I understand)...
