Nope, plug and play. Two bolts hold the rack in place, then its just the PS hoses and steering column.

This looks promising but I would want to research lot more about intercooler set up since its custom for VF set up. I'd have to relocate the power steering reservoir.Originally posted by ECSTuningCan't wait to see the numbers! Quick suggestion check out Mishimotos intercoolers, they carry the same lifetime warranty as the radiators and have very lower pressure drop less than .1psi at 15psi. I'm looking at grabbing the black S-Line (LINK) for my personal car soon, I figure the black will be rather discreet sitting behind the bumper.
I am sure that theres other intercoolers are cheaper and produce same or similar result. I just can't remember a name of brand.

I have seen kids around here mounting giant I/Cs just for the look. I think I/C are the new wings...Originally posted by pbonsalbI like black for the intercooler. It is stealthy. You do not see it unless you are really close and looking for it. Air to air are challenging to plumb for Vortech supercharged cars, but it has been done (cartech had a kit 10 years ago).

this is what i did. installed a rivet nut on the frame rail. mounted the reservoir in front of the supercharger. eventually i'll have the ps hoses made at a hydraulic shop instead of using barb connectors.

Adding a replacement of a starter, because its not catching all the time. You turn the key, it does nothing but when you turn key back to off, it catches. Some other times, it just spins.Originally posted by DEAFM3I decided to write a list of modifications/mods for my car. I thought it would be good idea to write it down as for future, we come back to this and look what we have accomplished so far.
Feel free to make some comments/suggestions
Heres full list of mine;
(Red means accomplished/added to the car)
In no particular order
-Stock Oem kidney grilles
-Raised up the M few more inches higher for more cleaner look
-New bumper with lip
-Diff Bracket from Mike R.
-Sway Bar reinforcement
-Fog delete since I hate the look of bav auto ones
-ZKW headlights with TSX retrofit or something better (DEPOS ARE DOWNRIGHT HORRIBLE AT NIGHT)
-license trim and tow trim (factory black to complete whole car)
-42lbs injectors
-high flow fuel pump
-an intercooler
-A 11 psi belt (need to research more into it)
-porsche HFM
-Nick G tune
-MM underpanel or similar (my M came with no panel cover)
-ZHP knob
-Z3 shifter
-Z3 steering rack
-Maybe some factory wheels or wider set of wheels
I have to turn key to ON for few second to have starter to catch in before starting the car.

www.my-mods.com/stage2.phpOriginally posted by DEAFM3Looks great, however, I'd like to have power steering reservoir behind the passenger headlight because its away from supercharger heat and belts incase if I need to change the belts. It wouldn't be in way if I'm working on it.
Exactly what your looking for.
