E36 vs. E46 Sunvisor Clip

I have been looking for the black sunvisor clips for my friend who also owns a E36. I found the clips for E36 are no longer available as shown in realoem.com but the E46 ones are still available for order (as low as $7.89 each on getbmwparts.com)



I noticed that the E46 sunvisor clips look almost the same like those on E36. As I don't have a E46 car to compare with, could someone let me know whether E46 sunvisor clips would fit on E36? Thanks.

They both look the same to me. Could someone confirm that? If E36 parts is not availabe anymore, maybe I just buy the E46 clips instead?
