I just replaced my ignition coils with new ones and flushed out my cooling system and when I took it out for a drive afterward a CEL came on as soon as I turned the key. Idle is smooth and fine, and there is no misfires at WOT or anything like that. The only thing that's different is there is a new clicking sound coming from under the hood and it's rate of clicking is relative to the RPM of the car. Any thoughts on what I should be checking for first?

It was very late at the time of post so that wasn't an option yet lol. I'm actually going to go get the code pulled in a few and am hoping it's nothing to worry about.Originally posted by RichardsperryEh, get yourself to almost any auto parts place and read the codes? Failing that, find someone with a code reader.
It could easily be a post hoc, ergo, propter hoc deal.
(rough translation, just because you did something, doesn't mean it caused something else.)
