Well I think it depends on the evaluation criteria.


If his vastly superior S4 is as boom gnarly as his "new toy" of an M3 I think I'd beg to differ.


Imagine the 458 owner who bargain shops (first) and I'll imagine that same guy getting butthurt over a little difference of opinion.

I'm not sure about the mansion owner comment. You have a major chip on your shoulder. Does it intimidate you that this guy owns an S4? Does that make you scared that he has a lot of money? Does having a lot of money mean that one may have no taste?


You seem to feel that money can be passed off as taste or somehow makes one immune from criticism from those who he (or you) perceive to be lesser.

A guy with a big showy house or a Ferrari probably cares more about what other people think than the guy in the cardboard box. The guy with that Ferrari can afford a way better car but he chose a Ferrari so that people will make certain assumptions about him. The guy in the cardboard box could not give a what.

Perhaps you missed the post three above yours?

If the OP is going to backlash against the community for giving him some constructive criticism and pointers he better expect the same to come back at him. You don't walk into a building and start a fire unless you're prepared to burn in it.


Personally, the car has a lot of potential for improvement, thankfully it doesn't have any awful body kit components on it. Some black trim, black diffuser, chrome kidneys, and general de-rice-ification would turn that into a pretty nice M3.


As it sits though, I'd rather have the Audi, and I'm pretty far from being an Audi guy.
