    Very well said!

E36 chassis is probably the most track capable mass production chassis ever made, save 911 (although E36 much more forgiving).

The E46 is also excellent, but pushes more than the E36 and feels a little big in comparison. E46 has much better motor (successor to the Euro S52) though.

The e46 is the same chassis/suspension geometry except significantly stiffer and bigger tire fitting (resulting in wider, the only dimension it's meaningfully larger) and with better braking electronics.

On track, i can very slowly pull on a CSL on straights and kill it in corners with very similar work carried out. Both have pros and cons, personal preference.
