oem quality lower temp fan switch?

ive been running the bimmerworld electric fan kit for a few years now, and ive had a few issues with fan switches, seems the lower temp switches that came in the kit and ive purchased since arnt reliable over time.



anyone found a better alternative? ive herd something about a 318 switch, i got a junkyard one at the moment from a e36 4cyl, and it dosnt work... i just jumped the fan to low speed mode at the moment, but i dont want to trust this once winter breaks and ill actually drive the car

I've been running 61318376440 for years and haven't had an issue. Which one do they include in their kit? It was my understanding that the one I got is "the one" to use.

Positive that the one included in the BW kit is the lower temp 318ti unit.
