To install this the 4 front bolts are (BMW # 11 9 915 093) M8 X 1.25 X 20mm long. I couldn't find this info ANYWHERE & I know people don't want to be hassled going to the dealership when any home improvement or auto parts store carries these.

I'll have to dig it up, it could be on Pelican, but they have the bolts listed on one of the DIY's. It's been 4 years since I did the install, so I don't remember the details, but I didn't buy the bolts from BMW.

I bought mine used, so no bolts. The understeer site only list the BMW part number, thread size & length, but not the pitch.Originally posted by Pierre i amTypixalky when you buy the xbrace nowadays it comes with the bolts. Mine didn't lol so thanks for taking the time to actually document it for others.

Cool...there is so much to learn!Originally posted by fiveightandten
Okay, I see why now...I bought the bolts from a local bolt shop and just install without any issue.Originally posted by M3AN1.25 mm is the standard pitch for an M8 bolt so it's not particularly critical information in this case. Any general store M8 bolt will be 1.25 mm.

I'm a machinist and I daily see metric pitch sizes of every size. It's not rare for automotive companies to use a finer pitch thread. I just thought this info would be easy to find & it was not.Originally posted by NolliM3Cool...there is so much to learn!

This is the bolt I ordered. You need a total of 4 for the front subframe and two larger ones held on by the tube bar can be reused.
