advice pls.....re buying this M3...

sooo it seems it was once a s/c'd car........but the seller knows like nothing about this car. He bought it off a buddy on a whim...and now he realizes he made a booboo.


So besides all the obvious questions,


how to check the health of an engine that was once s/c'd?....


comp...leakdown, all the typical stuff of course...


anything else?..


I'm under the impression an engine that was s/c'd may be compromised a bit......am I wrong?

Let me start by saying I have little experience with a SC car but from what I've gathered SC doesn't out wear on your motor like TC. But it also depends on how much boost is being ran and how hard the car was driven if the owner can't attest to that then it's still a guessing game
