Hi all,
So I just got back from a long day at Thermal Club. I am thoroughly exhausted, so I'll keep this brief.
Got to light up a variety of BMW cars and SAVs today in 5 different driving events. M3s on the high-speed track chasing an instructor (what a thrill!), M5/M6 GC/X5M on drag-racing relay course (abused the hell out of these poor things!), X5/M/40e on road course (kinda boring, but sure as hell better than a day at the office!), M235i on the wet skid pad (need I say more? WOOHOO!), and last, but definitely not least (and I'm afraid to admit probably the most fun event of all), 340i M-performance Pkg badboys through the timed auto-cross (surprisingly impressive!). PHEW!
I got 2nd quickest lap in our group of 20, so not too bad I suppose. I must say though, that 340i was mighty impressive. In fact, I might just have to get one for my next demo (Estoril Blue in the 6-spd manual?).
Oh, and I even got my own exclusive BMW Performance Driving School t-shirt for completing all the courses! Awww yeah!
