They are *theoretically* more durable, especially according to the vendors. In practice, they are a lot more expensive and the actual durability is an open question.Originally posted by M3ANSilicon hoses are more durable, yes. A lot of people don't like them because of the shiny look but you can get them in matt black too now.
I'd skip Samco and get a Roose Motorsport kit if I were going silicon.

It makes more sense to replace the very cheap rubber every once in a long while than it does to buy a "lifetime" solution.

Not intended to be a life time solution, but just something that might be a bit more durable.

Do not understand all these question. You have a Euro car, you live in Dubai. Why would you end up with US spec parts if you order the part for your spec car?
Thanks. Just trying to make sure I order the correct parts. Generally, the parts are not available locally so I have to order them online.
Any suggestions on where I can order an aluminium radiator. Thanks

Forget the US M3. Most parts are unique. So is the waterpump.
Use www.bmwfans.info or http://www.etk.cc/ and use last 7 digits of your VIN. That way you can find the P/N for the correct parts of your car.

Thanks. It seems the only option for the water pump is the OEM.
I really want to put an aluminium radiator in it. Any suggestions on where I can get one.
