    Did the E46 M3 let the E36 M3 Win!

The E46 M3 definitely pulled on the E36 M3...what you think in the end?

I don't think the e46 "let" the e36 win. I think the driver of the e46 just got bored with being so far ahead of the e36, that he decided to stop racing...because he already proved his point...

Notice that E36 lets off the gas several times to let E46 into his lane or keep safe distance going at 250km/h+. Their acceleration should be identical due to power weight ratio.

          +1

We can show these types of videos all day long and the conclusion is the same: there is very little difference between the two.

All else being equal, the E46 has a slight advantage over the E36 Evo which is exactly as BMW intended it to be.

Both are great cars and we owe BMW a huge debt of gratitude that they made them and continue to improve each successive generation.

Exactly. And it's not like that is some best kept secret.
