    e36 m3 build advice

First of im 17 and when i graduate highschool im going to buy a us spec m3 (97-99) and i wanted it to be a track car and withstand 800-1000 hp now it sounds crazy for a 17 year old to have a 1000hp car but these are plans for in the future when im much more mature when it comes to driving and after ive had tons of track lessons. For now i want to save up and do mods that dont necessarily add power but can prepare the car for 800-1000hp, Money isnt a problem for this build but i want to know what mods it will take to have a 800-1000 hp m3 and what mods i should do first.

here are the mods i already have planned but i am unsure as to which brands are the best and what other mods i should or shouldnt do

First off. This could get messy.

Since I'm sitting at a harbour killing time waiting for a 50lb shipment of organic vegetables from my supplier, I'm in a pretty good mood, so I'll go easy.

      1. You don't need 1000hp for a track car to be fun

      2. You absolutely can't afford a 1000hp e36 m3

      3. You absolutely can't handle a 1000hp e36 m3

      4. You are putting the cart way before the horse. Pick up a nice, decent e36 and hit the track with absolutely no mods. You will not be faster than the car will let you even in stock form.

After experience with the car in stock form, start picking up the pace with the help of better brakes.

Braking later and harder makes a huge difference.

Then suspension. Less body roll, higher entry speeds and more grip at speed.

Then tires. Sticky rubber keeps you in control in the corners. Higher entry speeds, cornering, and exit speeds.

See how much fun you can have and how long that keeps you entertained before you add expensive, unreliable, and useless power (past a point) to an already fun car.

Be reasonable, be safe, and have fun. Remember, you are an absolutely terrible driver going into your first track day. We all were.

I know i wont be able to handle a 1000hp car thats why I want track lessons and its not going to be a stock jump to 1000hp i want it to happen gradually and i do plan on hitting the track with a stock e36 and as i slowly mod it i can get used to how it feel. Affording it for me isnt going to that hard, im going to be joining my dads business soon and money wont be as a problem. Other then that what tires and brakes would you recommend?

You literally will never be able to handle a 1000hp e36. Randy pobst couldn't handle a 1000hp e36.

Start with upgraded pads, rbf600 fluid, and pilot supersport tires.

Get pilot sport cup 2. And some ap racing radical brake set. Or stop tech are just as good as brembos.

                    Learn to spell...Ranch Cucamonga.......

1000 HP for road race or drag track? Either way, it's about 700 more HP than you need or can handle....

First of all its actually rancho cucamonga and its for a road car, and i never said its going to be an immediate build and not some stock to 1000hp build, if i increased it to 500hp and i felt i could only handle that then ill stop and instead of calling me out saying i can only handle a car with 300hp when you dont know my limits as ive already handled a car with over 400hp. Instead of just saying i cant handle it why dont you tell me why i cant handle it with some constructive advice instead

EDIT: to be fair i did realize i misspelled my city but your correction wasnt correct either

800-1000 rwhp is where the kids turboing their e36 m3 start these days in the bimmerforums forced induction subforum. I supercharged mine 10 years ago with 300 rwhp and am now turbocharged with close to 700 rwhp, but I am a slow learner and have only 35 years of driving experience.

yeah a lot of people are telling me to ditch the supercharger and go turbo, when youre running 700hp are there any specific mods that i should do to keep engine from blowing up?
