Any data to support this? Not doubting you by any means, simply wondering.

I am close to pulling the trigger on the Abrahams wing, but if this is true, ill reconsider.

I can't tell you I have proof, but I've seen from others orders/boxes/documentation that it is.

Any doubts just email them to confirm.

I'll probably just order the cheapest one that I think is from Lester the molester and see what happens.

Look up the "definitive LTW wing thread" on the other popular Bimmer forum. I believe one of the European guys on the forum said that Abrahams and Schmeidmanns sources their wings from the exact same factory in Europe and a few guys compared and they are the same. The advantage to Abrahams is they are in the US and have them in stock, which gets you the product faster. Schmiedmanns ships direct from Europe which takes a couple weeks, so it just comes down to what you value.

              Good to know.

I don't mind waiting, so overseas it is.

Did you ever end up purchasing the Abrahams/Lester wing? How was the fit?

It seems that the Lester wing is now discontinued. Just FYI.

I bought a wing off of eBay. 2/10, would not recommend. I’m afraid to mount it because I’m worried it’ll explode while I’m driving on the freeway.

I purchased a Schmeidmann. It's still in the box. I'll probably end up keeping it in case I need it as an OEM wing for Bimmer Challenge.

I'll probably get a BMSPEC wing for now though.

if that box ends up taking up too much space for you, you could always sell it

No, don’t do that. Sell the GT wing to me, and get yourself a PTG Evo wing.

My OEM wing has a couple of funny gaps when you get up close. I figured it wasn't "just mine" lol.

Honestly as long as you get a decent quality wing that won't sag, the prep and paint will make the biggest difference in the final look.

PS: why would you need a wing for Bimmer Challenge? My interpretation is it adds a point to your classing for little return - the OEM and OEM replicas don't really do much downforce wise.

OEM wings are just 1 point and it is my understanding that while the LTW has a shit load of drag - it does still have some downforce associated with it. I would be curious why BMW would create a piece that has no real world value and functionality and put it on their LTW cars?

My car has a "high rise" low wing that came with the car so I'm already paying for the point (it's 1 point) so an LTW is the same point cost.

I'm considering stepping down from my 80 tread wear tires so I can spend those points on more aggressive aero.
