Being a 'domestic' shop, they probably didn't have the proper tools, and why invest in them for one job.

Do you have access to the tools locally?

Got it back yesterday, and besides struggling to turn over for a second when I was about to leave the shop (???) she feels great. Still anticipating the CEL to come back on, but it hasn't yet!

Due to living in honky tonky NE Oklahoma it's hard to find a Euro/Import shop that isn't 50+ miles away... BUT, one of my friends from my technical school got a chance to job shadow at a BMW/Porsche/Audi shop (Rennsport in Tulsa, OK) and he told me it looks like they do a pretty reputable job. There was a Z3M Roadster outside (in estoril ) so I'm guessing they probably know a little haha.

I'll probably try and use them for service next time I need to do something that is fully out of DIY range.

Thanks for all the words/help/patience, everyone. I'm doing my best to keep moving forward with my knowledge of my car/situations related to it, but sometimes it's a little tough.

Glad it's back on the road. Enjoy it and be careful not to make the same mistakes twice!!
