I saw a few posts on r3vlimited with this. Doesn't look bad at all!

What is the process for securing the back section of the headliner (the section along the rear window, between the c-pillars)? I ran it inside the metal seam but it came out when I was hitting triple digits at the track and was flopping everywhere. Maybe I don't have enough material on the headliner for it to squeeze tight enough into the seam to be secure(since I don't have fabric on my headliner). Is there something I'm overlooking, or do I likely just need to add material to the liner so it snugs into the metal seam.

FYI I just called Veteran Co and the guy said the black BM134 fabric should be here "any day now."

I just ordered 2yds today, their ordering is archaic in the fact I had to fill out a sheet / pdf it to them along with copies of my license / CC...but whatever. No clue on shipping yet but I doubt it will be outrageous. Width is 48.5 for BM134 that they have in stock.

I actually was able to pick it up in person, but based on how their shop looks I'm not surprised in the least to learn that the online ordering was outdated AF. It's just like the typical LA garment district old school upholstery guys. Giant warehouse with a million and a half things piled to the ceiling. Nice and easy guys to deal with in person, but they do mostly wholesale from what I gathered, so I don't think there's a lot of incentive to update the website.

Car is at the shop getting the headliner done right now. I caught a serious case of project laze and decided to let the guys who know what they're doing handle this one. Picking up Wednesday morning, will post pics when it's done.

Would be curious to see how this turns out.

I did re-upholster headliner and pillars in black alcantara in my M Coupe, and it turned out fantastic.

Here is a before installation pic:

After it was installed and alcantara brushed, it looks absolutely like the headliners in current m-cars.
