2 year update on bluetooth mod into C33 head unit

[m3f_scbeast]

Hey everyone - I originally wanted to make this vid to help out the new owner of my '97 m3 before it shipped off - then figured someone else might want to see how this custom install works.

Hopefully it helps someone who was in my position a couple years ago - basically searching every thread on multiple forums looking for a reasonable bluetooth audio streaming solution while maintaining the stock appearance.

cool mod - I've been thinking of going back to a stock looking setup for a while.

found this in your youtube description, this is the outfit that does the mods?

I need this. This is much better then a unit plugged into your cigarette light port.

Get a stock unit with CDC connector and you don't need modding and gives you option to connect an interface with all modern options.

I've had this mod but done by George over 2 years ago (forget his name on M3F). His setup takes over the center cassette tray entirely. There are buttons to pause and play and the quality is CD level. I also have a mic fitted which helps with conference calls and such when I'm on the road. It has saved me from multiple tickets. Although I have to speak up. I do believe your mic can be located overhead. right above your visor.
