OMG Where are the Power Steering Pumps??

So I checked everywhere, and the entire part (32412227197) has been discontinued.



Has anyone else encountered this recently??

both are on backorder I just checked with them as well. only places left are like the oreily and autozones but have no idea the quality of their rebuilds

Thanks but I can't take the risk, my car was only 90k miles when the issue started so I have to be safe and shoot for a rebuilt one or new one.

Did your pump have a whine to it?


I just spoke with my mechanic but the repair kit appears to be seals only and would address the issue if your pump has a leak. However, if there is a noise coming within it (mine is whining) there is a mechanical issue that he just won't touch.

The rebuild kit addresses everything except internal metal failure. Yes mine had whine. Your mechanic is mistaken.

I rebuilt mine about a month ago. Easy job.

The most difficult part was getting the "C" clip back on. Stubborn little bugger.
