As long as it isn’t Leatherique and has a matte top coat.

Make sure you seal off that spot that broke through into the “suede” before color coat. The little fibers show through color and top coat very easy.

I have a filler/sealer that came with the kit. Worst case is that it comes out awful and I take it to a shop to fix, this was worth the $200 risk.

Their “dye” kit is the joke. It’s more like latex paint than dye.

Anyway, goodluck with the recolor project.

I feel like you need a bit more filler.

Finally got some time to work on the seats. Here is the old seat drivers seat with the refinished drivers.

Light grey vaders really are beautiful when looking fresh. Nice work.

Nice job man, those look way better. I might try this... Problem is the leather itself is worn pretty thin, although it's not ripped through. And the stitching is slightly frayed. Would you mind sharing some close up photos of the stitching on the side bolster? I'd like to see that as a reference.

Im sure I can in the next few days, since my house in under construction the car is in storage. These seats had some previous repairs so the leather and foam were in pretty good shape, the finish was just bad.
