Offset FCAB question & thank you to Fly for the pressed set

Had the day off today and decided to do some maintenance items while I had some free time, so I went ahead and installed the the pre-pressed lollipops I received from the Fly, awesome service btw, even dealing with someone as slow as I am on returns.

I’m surprised how much positive caster it gave me, it looks to be pretty much maxed out before fender death.

Oh also installed the Syncro Designs rtabs, have only put 10 miles on since install but damn are they a serious improvement over a cooked set of stock bushings

And a quick shout out to the “performance” shop in ATX who installed all the PO’s upgrades, especially the wheel studs that over 90% were less than finger tight, y’all the best.

Buy stock! Unless it’s a nice Techno that’s local, always buy that one.

New wheel also, too large for me but 1000x better than 4 spoke.

    Cheers

This happens when you install offset cabs on 96+ control arms. It’s not ideal. The increased caster is already built into the control arm geometry. This is why these cabs only belong on the 95 control arms.

I would get the right parts on the car.

Unfortunately nice parts on the wrong car. Don’t risk the fenders and get the centered 96+ fcab’s on the car asap.

don't mean to thread jack but for 1995 cars, do the offset control arms give the car a weaker turning radius than say later model year cars? I am not sure if its in my head but even my AWD e46 felt like it had a tighter turning radius
