    E30 control arms on 95 e36 m3?

I've been reading many posts about people doing E30 non M control arms on a 95 e36 m3. Will it work? The price difference is significant. I know the e30 ball joints work on the e36 m3. But, for a shy more I can buy e30 control arms if they work. So my question is does it actually work?

I believe no, the E30 arms are not correct. You could use the E30 M3 arms as they are the same geometry and are aluminium, but they aren't as durable on a heavier E36.

Yes, but the arms are not.

Can you press new joints into your arms to save money? I did this once on an E36 328i. Scary when the old ones finally popped out. Make sure your feet and shins are not in the path.

He knows. There is very little he doesn’t. He was asking if you are capable of the work.

So far, I haven't taken the M3 to any shop. I've done majority of the work and it's my "Project/daily" so we'll have to see. I know my front lower control arms were replaced according to the carfax but the bushings are long gone since the car sat
