does anybody know where I can find info on how to remove the auto trans shift knob to gain access to the center console (i.e. power window controls, etc.) I've looked everywhere and can't find the info, it's not in the bentley manual either. Someone please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi.
You need to look for a litlle screw behind the knob. In some cars this screw is placed behind (facing the rear seats) and in some other cars this screw is sideways (facing the front door).
The screw should be visible. Then all you need to do is pull the knob out.

I finally got it. For anyone else who's interested, it just pulls off if you pull it straight up just like the manual knob. It would be easier though if you turn the ignition to on and put the selector to 3, then pull straight up.Comment
