    how to replace side blinkers??

    hi all,

My right side blinker has collected condensation and I wanted to take it off to wipe it and then put it back on. Can anyone tell me how to do this? It's an E46 m3 so i don't know if it differs greatly from the e36 in this procedure (i do realize this is an e36 forum) but i wanted to go ahead and ask anyway. I would really appreciate any help as it would save me a 100 mi trip to the BMW dealership for a 15 min procedure. Thanks alot!

Let me see if can help you with my poor english... http://m3forum.com/ubb/smile.gif

If you open the hood of your car, behind the junction of the headlight with the blinker you will see a hole in the fender. Get a medium screwdriver for example and insert it in the hole and press down the plastic bit wich secures the blinker to the headlight. If you look inside this litlle hole in the fender (wich is covered when the hood is closed) you will see the plastic bit wich i am talking about. Press down and push the blinker out.

I hope this helps. Its hard to explain by writing.

I'm a sophomore right now, studying microbiology. I'm sure we were both pretty upset when Tenn. terminated us...but next year we'll have our revenge. Do you live in the Gville area? I love the school and univ. ave. offers alot to do!
