    Noisy Gearbox/Clutch

I have an Evo36 on a P plate and are suffering from a noisy gearbox/clutch. It seems whenever the engine gets upto normal temperature the noise begins. It only happens if the car is not in gear and my foot is off the clutch. As soon as I put my foot on the clutch it goes again. BMW told me that this is normal but its beginning to sound like a diesel. Is this a common problem on the M3 or has anyone else had it?

    Thanks

    Andy

Hi Andy. I have a friend that had the same problem with a 3.0 M3.

The noise came from the clutch bearing.

You need to install a new one.

Bad news is that you need to remove the gearbox.

If your problem is caused by the same thing i think that could solve the problem.

    Eduardo.
