Any E36 M3 Convertible Owners Out There?

Just bought my 1999 M3 Convertible last week (Silver/Black). An older guy had leased the car and returned it with only 5,300 miles on it in pristine condition. I guess he didn't like the stick and/or used it only on sunny weekends.


Have skimmed through the forum, but haven't seen much discussion of convertible M3s. To me, if you live in a climate that is convertible friendly, there is no better way to go.

Just bought a '98 M3 Conv. I sold my '00 Boxster to get back from the dark side. I've had a couple of BMW's before and am very glad to be back.

I actually like the Boxster. Probably one of the best handling cars I've ever driven.

However, 2 seaters were out of the question since I wanted a convertible that holds 4 adults. The 3 series convertible was an easy choice, especially with so many '99s coming off lease.
