I have a 98 m3/4. I bought it stock, and after 6 months of driving the car stock, I decided to do some mods to the car. The first thing I did was the exhaust, I had a UUC, it was awesome. Now the car has the growl that it deserves, secondly, I put in an intake. I did the ECIS intake since it has comparibly cheaper than Dinan. I would recommand the conforti/ecis with heatshields. if you want the Look of CF, the dinan is a way to go, it sure looks very nice under the hood. However, they all yield the same performance gain. Finally I put in the Shark injector as my last mod. It makes sense to upgrade all your hardware before you do the software, but let me tell ya, the shark was the best bang for the money so far. I think i might do the pully next..not sure yet..still researching
good luck
