Audio experts please help

I am trying to install an aftermarket cd changer to a factory bmw radio. It is a JVC 12disc changer and has the seperate cd changer control and I was wondering if anyone has installed an after market cd changer to their vehicles. If so please help me out. Thanks

Well, first of all...you NEED this to install; an antennae converter to a male plug, the eruo to US conversion antennae...

It has to go through the FM radio, because unless you are an electrical expert, I doubt you are going to get the factory head unit to control it.



What exactly do you need help with? As 00poop6x said, you will need the antenna adapter. You can also tap into power (switched and contstant) and ground where the factory CD changer goes above the battery. It should be prewired for the factory changer. From there, you can probably run the wires along side of the factory CD changer wires to the head unit. Be careful to keep them away from the large red wire from the battery, this can cause engine noise as the factory CD changer has it. Good luck.
