I believe the '95 M3 has an eprom that you have to replace in the ECU, if I am incorrect please correct me. I would have to bet that the Jim Corforti chip would be better than the Dinan chip from pass experience. I believe the Dinan chip is EPA legal but the Jim Corforti chip is "for off road use only." That says a lot. I tried both chips in an old 325es and the Jim Conforti was noticably better but I guess that can be different for a M3. Other should comment that have tried both chips in their m3.
Yea your right the SI is for OBDII engines and I don't think it would work for a 95......I guess I read that first post fast cause I swear I knew that.........anyways sorry for the false info
What budget are we talking about here? Your best bet would be to get the JC chip, a lot cheaper than the dinan chip, a CAI setup and if you must... a better exhaust. That's the cheapest you can do to get noticably more power to your car.
Don't forget the Euro HFM for a 95. You will notice that the price for an CAI for a 95 can be up to $1000, but that includes a larger HFM. You will get some nice gains with this and a chip alone, but it costs a bit.
