Final Word on CAI Hey Purple/Roadrunner

Everyone please help my wife wants to get me a CAI for x-mas, I already found the PIAA xenons she hid in her closet. God I love her, anyway I notice purple and roadrunner both run JC CAI. Is this the best. If not please help I do not plan on any other mods for a while, also how much generally do these cost? Any one familiar with Eisenhaus stuff?

I don't know if its THE best as I haven't tried the other intakes and what not.. but this is what I was planning to go w/ (Jim Conforti CAI)... I was planning to do all my mods at once but for the intake this was what I was going to buy...



damn you have a cool wife... my whole family things I'm too into cars and tools.. they absolutely refuse to buy me anything for my car or the garage... I've been hinting an air compressor and impact tools for my garage collection of tools but they won't budge :???:

hey erik, yes i am completely satisfied w/ my jc cai. it looks factory stock and very clean. and i think the heat shield does it's job of keeping the engine heat out and trapping the cool air in. you also might want to check into ECIS and AAwerks.....same concept, different packaging. i purchased it w/ the shark injector from TM for somewhere $700-750....forget the exact.

ECIS is running a special right now. You can get the CAI and shark for about $500. I would do it in a heartbeat if I had the $$.

jc cai is the best way to go.. im so happy with the money i spent on it.. with the shark, it can't be beat.. perfect combo!
