    Buying M3 question

Hello Everyone i am new to this list and making a transition from Japanese world to BMW, i had a nissan 300zx that was totaled about 2 months ago, and now i am thinking about M3.

The simple question i have right now is:

some m3's came with wood trim interrior, and i was wondering if it is easy to replace wood trim with black or carbon fiber, i really don't like wood.

Any feedback is appretiated thank you

i can't tell ya anything about wood interior.. actually ive never seen one with wood interior.. its probably a sedan that u saw.. thats the only one that i could even think of having wood interior in.. anyways.. just find one without.. it shouldn't be that hard to find one..

The luxury edition m3's have wood interior. Along with different sideskirts, and slats in the front grille instead of mesh. I think the wood looks kinda nice IMHO. I'd post a pic but I don't have any that are small enough to get on this board....

Get the sport model. It's more likely the one you really want anyway.

What I mentioned above, and I think the lux's didn't come with vader seats, and no front lip spoiler.

the wood is easy to change, I would recommend it too since it is prone to cracking.

The wood trim came along the M3's w/ sport/luxury package just like mine. The wood trim is easy to diassemble. But if you don't want the wood trim you're better off getting the sport M3, everything inside is black.

The wood is very easy to replace... you can swap it out yourself very easily (My brother did it on his 98 328i).

Another thing to think about is the splitter. I could be wrong, but I believe I have seen some of the luxury M3s without splitters on the bottom of the front air dam.

                    Good luck...
