    yet another audio ?

ok, i know that this has probally been asked alot but i couldnt really find anything to help me and am hoping someone can help. i want to add subs to the stock sys. and am aware that ill need a line out converter so i can add an outside amp, i was wondering if i should tap the wires that go to the rear deck speakers or what, also later i plan on adding an alpine cva-1003 and an indash dvd/cd player, any tips on installing these on my 99?

any help would be greatly appreciated, and again im sorry for asking these questions that youve heard 1000 times but i want it done right.

    thanks

a lot of people tap into the rear speaker lines before any factory amps and such and locate the line level converter in the trunk where the amp is... this is fine but what I usually do when I install things like these for friends cars is.. I try to put the line level converter up by the head unit and tap into the speaker wires from the back of the head unit..

the reason for this is to save labor next time around... w/ the line level converter in the console/back of head unit.. your going to have to run the RCA cables from the amp to the line level converter.. although it might seem to be more work this time.. it saves you work next time.. in that what you finally decide to get a new aftermarket head unit that has factory pre-outs for an amp.. your RCA's are alread from from the amp to the front/center console.. when you get a new unit you just unplug the converter and RCA's.. splice and solder the new head units harness to the factory harness/wire connector.. and your RCA's are already run.. so you can just plug the RCA's into the new head unit from there, connect the remote line/ignition and your set...

if you have no plans on getting a new/aftermarket head unit in the future w/ RCA pre-outs then I guess this would be a waste of time.. but if you ever do.. then run your RCA's to the front and this will save you time next time around..

the line level converter is basically speaker +/- wires, RCA output/RCA wires and a remote turn on/ignition input in most cases...

there are also some amps that will take high level/speaker level inputs....

on the tv screen I have no idea...
