finally got my car have few question

I finally got my car it's a 96 m3 coupe cosmos black, only mods it has is the REMUS exhaust, i'm new to the bmw world so don't know much about them i've always had high performance japanese cars, first of all i was wondering if remus exhausts are any good and also which air filter should i get, do i need to get a separate haf meter or do most intakes come with it, what's the best place to get them ?

    thank you

    Intakes:

    AA tuning (www.aatuning.com)

    ECIS (www.ecisbmw.com)

Jim Conforti (sorry I forget the URL)

You can continue to use the Stock MAF, if you get a chip too you will maximize your gains from the Intake and exhaust setup.

    Where to purchase:

see above, I think TC Kline sells the conforti intake (www.tcklineracing.com)

Not all intakes include haf meters... Like ESP said you can get some real good ones relatively inexpensively. The one I chose was from conforti... I bought it through Turner Motorsport (http://www.turnermotorsport.com). Conforti makes a software upgrade that you can install/uninstall over and over for OBDII cars that is real sweet. The package together is about$750 for the software and the intake.

Dinan (http://www.dinanbmw.com) sells a cold air intake and they have a lot of development into higher flow air meter, uprgraded fuel injectors, etc... that go with their intake system (snorkel that drops above the brake cooling duct). That system is more expensive than the conforti system and more difficult to install, but its designed to be used with Dinans high mass air flow system (All very good... but also very expensive).

does the conforti package come with the shark injector, or is it a different software ?

The intake and the software from turner is both Conforti... I believe bavauto sells software in the same type of programming system but I don't know whether or not it is conforti software or not. You can buy the intake and the software separately ($400 and $350 respectively) but they are designed to work together... and they do so very well.
