Well I was a little concerned about drilling holes because they are very close to the borders of the pedal, and if I make a wrong cut that could break the plastic. I was also thinking about gluing it but I want a more permanent solution, and I don't want to have to glue the rubber stoppers to the metal pedal. Thanks for the response. keep em coming.

i used a hardware clamp to hold the pedals as i drilled a pilot hole using a thin titanium drill bit.....i forget what size. after that i went back with same size bit as the screws and finished the holes. be careful doing the clutch pedal....make sure the holes do not runoff the pedal. the brake pedal is metal so take your time drilling these holes. for the gas pedal, i took it out to drill. get down there and you'll see a butterfly clip keeping the gas pedal inplace; pop that clip off and pedal will slide off.

also be careful of the metal sheddings. good luck.

Rope. A few feet of rope wrapped around REAL tight should do the trick. Ads that nice rustic feel to the car as well. The main thing you have to remember is to keep it REAL tight...thats the key.
