The kit I got was from BMP Design (http://www.bmpd.com). They had the best price (About $450 including shipping for car club members 10% discount). Other places that sell them include bav auto (http://www.bavauto.com) but they are slightly more expensive.
Overall they are prett easy to install, you cut the existing plugs off, jump off the parking lights and splice them into a single plug for the euro headlight unit. The ellipsoids on the euro headlights that include the angel eyes go farther into the engine bay than the orignal, but the only thing I've heard of having a problem is the Dinan CAI that tries to go into the same space.
Hope this helps...

I bought mine from a German eBay seller. They are Inpro which I understand to be a fairly common brand of aftermarket lights for German cars. I only paid $320 and that included shipping costs! I think they automatically make the M3 more refined and the ellipsoid lighting is better too. Comparing them to the stock headlight assemblies really reveals how much better the european lights really are.

This is about the 10th time I have read that Inpro lights are 'crappy'. I have no problem with people that don't like them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but what I do have a problem with is that no one ever says why they think they are crappy? Is it just because they are not $600 and every other part for a BMW is, so people think they ****? I bought these lights for almost half the price of the ones you see in BMP, Turner, etc. Perhaps I have a piece of junk and don't know it, but I would be hard pressed to find a problem with them. The fit was perfect and they work. What more can you ask for?
Seriously, what is the extra $300 buying you???

THANKS !!!
I finally have an understanding of some of the differences. Now whether or not those differences make the Inpros inferior when you factor in the price, each person has to make that decision for themselves. Even after reading the article, for what I wanted, I think I got a good deal.

In reality, that "debate" is somewhat tired and old.
There are far more differences that I've compiled from memory here:
InPro beam pattern doesn't have the same quality brightness.
Doesn't have the same quality cutoff.
Might melt if you use HID or higher wattage bulbs for H1
Angel Eyes (if you want them) are inferior in every way to the DDEs (this one is more subjective of course).
Do a search on a few "chat boards" and you'll see that I'm pretty close.

I have about 10 videos, so the brightness seen in them can't be a fluke
