    e36- 328iS vs. M3

now i know both cars are V6, but what exactly is the difference between the two? i know the M3 is an inline 6, but im not quite sure what that means. how do the specs of the two cars compare?

    thanks,

    eric

also, how do i post pictures under my name?

well.. the M is given a sports car suspension with partial adjustable coilovers up front, and a sporty rear.. also.. the engine is tweaked out much more.. so ur getting 240 hp and 236 ft-lbs. (out of OBD II) as for the 328is.. im not sure about the numbers.. but im guessing its probably like 200 hp or so... either way.. the M3 would run circles around a stock 328is.. but turbos and a coilover kit.. and we look like beef stew

BTW, neither are V6, BMW does not make V6's, they leave that to the lesser german makers.

If you take a 328is (190 hp) and make everything better, from a driver's point of view, then you get an M3 (240 hp).
