Interior lighting question

On the 95 M3 they have manual climate control. I was just wondering are the knobs and numbers supposed to light up becaus mine dont, nothing does on that panel except for the defrost buttons and stuff. also my light knob doesnt light up either. are these supposed to light up? Thanks for the help.

Yes, my 95 325i had the same thing happen. It was a burned out light bulb... The dealer changed it so I can't really help with where or how to do it.
