Would Shark and Tran Soft Help I have Dinan Chip and CAI with Remus

Well the subject tells it all.



I bought the car already with the Dinan chip and CAI along with a remus exhaust. Does the Trany chip even apply to cars with a manual transmision. Also is the shark that much better that I should run out and shark it. One more thing I don't have the original chip so how would that affect the shark.?

I don't think you can shark a car that has a diff. chip in it.......your chip and the shark injector are the same thing it's just the shark is removable.......also I don't think the tranny chip has an effect on manual trannies please correct me if i'm wrong

Crazzy is right... the Shark injector is pretty much the same type of software upgrade. The advantage the shark is is reversable reprogramming v/s removing a chip. You should be good with the Dinan systems



As far as I know there is no transmission software for manual transmissions... there are no electronics running a manual transmission, the tranny software are for automatics only.

How does the shark reprogram the car? I mean, how do you get gas mileage improvements and stuff?



My understanding is that by adding stuff like turbos, you get an added bonus because you just don't need to accelerate as much to get around for normal driving...is it something like that when you shark it?
