Your thoughts on buying an M3...

I can't find any M3's locally.



Im looking for a 95-97 with under 65k mi.



How do the cars run with 65k miles on them?



I cant imagine anyone abusing an M3, and for this reason I would be willing to buy over the internet...provided that I saw pics of every aspect of the car.



Your thoughts?

65K should be no problem for an M3... 65K isn't much of a problem for most cars.. as long as it was well maintained it should run perfect...



where do you live that there are none locally? anyway try www.autotrader.com



you can enter the type of used car your looking for and the distance (ie.. 100 mile radius) your willing to travel to get it.. and see if you find any..

classifieds, etc..



personally I'd rather be able to see a car in person and talk to the owner and see all the records than buy something that cost so much over the internet based on a few photos and the sellers "word".... the seller could be shady and take pix of the "good" side.. whereas the other side which was not pictures is dented or scratched.. or there could be other things wrong w/ the car they don't tell you in the description or whatever.. not saying everyone is like that but some people are shady so watch out..

theres been a black on black 97 M3 5 speed for sale in the newspaper here for about a month now. its like $26,000 but only 15k miles on it. i can get the number out of the paper tomorrow for you if youre interested..

Yea I agree with GSRaCeRbOI.........don't forget if that's the first owner of the car they can take pics of it the first day they got it and post those......then sell you a dented piece.....so I would take a look at it

thats really odd that you can't find any locally.. yeah where ya from.. because i see the set of letters out front (Caruso) and it reminds me of a teacher i had last semester.. theres no way it could be.. or could it.. haha
