H1 high wattage?

Is there anyone out there that can tell me if the ZKW eurolight headlights will handle the heat of a 100watt H1 buld, in the low as well as the high beam positions? I need first hand knowledge from someone that has actually done this on their car that has been equipped with the ZKW elipsoid headlamps.

Sorry, I have not done this, but maybe can help.



The ZKW's (I have them) are of much better contruction that the US spec lights...so I don't think that is your limitation.



Rather, the wiring harness, I hear, can overheat from the increased demand (current) of the higher wattage bulbs...



So, I do not thinnk the housings are the issue, rather the wiring that you really can't do much about. Tim
