i don't think they are going to chase them because there have been so many deaths due to the chases.. some are pedestrians that don't even know whats going on..

u can't outrun the radio.. but u can out smart the officer..

what i have heard about LA is they are going to stop GROUND chases . . . this doesnt mean a chopper wont be following u, and radioing in all ur moves to ground units . . . this is very feasible for LA as well, because i hear they always have an air unit on patrol

its not like u cant outrun a chopper, ud just need a really fast car/bike and a driver whos not afraid to die weaving in traffic

u know what would be good for a situation like that??

screw the yamaha r1 or any sport bike for that matter . . . dont know if uve all seen this yet, but feast ur eyes on the viper's offspring . . .

              155 mph?

              . . . try 400+ mph

I actually think that's a good idea because if you've got an air unit on the runaway and no cops in sight he'll eventually run outta gas and he will feel less threatend during the whole pursuit........I would LOVE to be in a pursuit against cops, but the only way I'd do it is I knew I wouldn't get into trouble afterwards.....so far the only "running" I've done from cops is speeding up a bit and turning into a road and turning off the lights.........it's worked both times I had the oppurtunity to do cause I was outta sight of the cop.....but otherwise I think it's just stupid to try and out run a cop after he's been on you for more then 10 seconds cause they have your plates and know who you are.

i agree with ur thoughts on pursuits . . . i would also love to be in a chase with multiple cars if i had a fast enough car just to see if i could get away . . . but the case would have to be extreme . . . like i just stole a mod'ed z06 or something

lol, same thing has also happened to me with cops in the e46, ive had an IL state trooper toss the cherries on at 3am off a side street while i sped by him . . . although i think the driver was asleep and the cop in the pass had threw on the lights . . . because i looked in my rear view expecting him to give chase, when i didnt see him i took off . . . lol

                            i damn near **** my pants man . . .

i didnt mention tho, at the same time, as i was speeding by the cop, i swerved into the opposing lane to avoid these huge steel (for lack of a better word) plates that were on the road . . .

                            so imagine a T

i sped by on the horizontal part of the T, and the cop was sitting right near the horizontal part of the T . . . and i hadnt even noticed him

i froze for a minute when i saw the lights come on, and my friends started yelling in a panic saying he wasnt coming so . . . i just hooked a right and punched it

Don't you love it when your trying to make a decision really really really fast and you have someone next to you yelling exactly what you know you shouldn't do......haha
